VIJI: hmm i ve been wanting to talk abt the weekend trainings yaa



me: i think this is the best time and best place to talk! :)

VIJI: ya right so u tell me what do i do to begin working on weekends

or join ur company as a trainer



me: can u plz tell me what and how are ur financial, emotional, and other priorities and requirements from work and work place as of for now

VIJI: work place as in the existing one?



me: no no

I am asking this Qs to know u better to understand what is that u r looking for

what is that u r contended with currently what would u like to change

and what r u ready to do for it

VIJI: i think my career as a trainer in my current company has reached its potential

but it does gives me financial security



me: ok..

VIJI: what i think is working with u during the weekend will give me that extra confidence to do free lancing and ur experience will give a bigger boost



me: ic....but why do u want to do freelancing in the first place

VIJI: hmm what other option do i have

join some training co ? i dont want to be in this industry for sure



me: ic

what kind of income do u expect to have later when u r fully freelancing ?

VIJI: i expect a good hike over a period of time

i mean with experience i wud expect my income to increase

i feel i ve stagnated here Financially d professionally



me: i thought so!

and its a very good sign!

VIJI: its not a good feeling



me: yes i agree about that

VIJI: its frustrating



me: and its there for a very good reason! to MOVE u!

i know !! u know, what my sisters tell me that i dont go for interviews

and dont circulate my cv b'coz i am in the comfort zone

and dont want to move frm there

me: whenever I work with some one... i usually help with various stuff to begin with... it is usually a special work ... i insist on this work being something which they realllllly love to do)

i share my contacts, network, brand name , most importantly experience and advice....

and the profits are shared equally

me: (which, if u r not aware... is MORE than fair enough of the share... looking at the current revenue sharing practices) :)

VIJI: hmmmm sounds interesting!



me: and i believe in doing so (giving more than market trend)

VIJI: true



me: it help in many aspects of business and life too

VIJI: ya



me: now... before i proceed.. any questions?

me: MOST important criterion is ... the person in consideration should TOTALLY LOVE the work we are considering to do.

cuz starting up a business unit is definitely no joke!

VIJI: okie i understand



me: It needs HUGE amount of emotional energy, passion, desire, time and some times financial resources

VIJI: yes



me: we believe in minimal capital investments and thus like to keep the unit thin and slim

VIJI: hm



me: this also gives the concerned person an excellent opportunity to learn various aspects of work ... not just specifically focused work (which usually happens in 98% of jobs)

VIJI: very true!



me: THIS is where the huge amount of growth of a person happens

VIJI: i agree



me: which in turn gives confidence and sharpness to one's work... whatever that might be

VIJI: hmm



me: now the disclaimer is: it looks good.. and even sounds good.. but in real life.. it is honestly tough. lot of new things to be learned, new activities to be done, and even new dimensions to think from

VIJI: hmm i agree



me: and the fun is.. no one but that person can decide if it is right or ok for him/her

to take up this challenge :) so independence is expected right from beginning!

:) and it applies for u too!

VIJI: yes !



me: if u r willing to team up.. then such exercises and task will be given...

and most of them would be challenging (for a beginner) but at the same time... very info rich lessons can be extracted from it. plus great growth can stem from that very exercises

the question is... are YOU ready!? :)

me: these questions are to be answered by u... calmly ... with great care and sincere thought... take ur time... and there is no limit to the length of the answers....

me: Q1. In past so many years, right from childhood... what have I loved doing? be it as simple as playing in mud.. or anything at all.. small big .. it does not matter... just write down all the things u enjoyed doing totally!



Q2, similarly.... what do i do currently... which i completely love to do?



Q3. and even though I may have never done this... I believe I would be really happy to do following things in future, soon:

me: Q4. Money and Success are by products (and to some extent a measure) of one's usefulness to society. so which activities would I like to do so that I may of use to the society via those products or services?



Q5. What have been my dreams since childhood and what are my current dreams?

me: Q6. What do my parents and my spouse, my children expect from me?



me: this is not just for our work viji... this will be phenomenally significant for ur own life re

me: the more u answer these questions... the clearer you would be about ur own self!!

me: now Q7 is a bit strange.. but most important....

Q7, list down ALL the experiences in ur life u can remember (in any order .. in minimum 2 sentences each)

VIJI: ALL??



me: well.. of course u will not remember all of them! :P

VIJI: hehee but good and bad?



me: but the thing is that whichever u remember... u just write couple of lines or more

viji... all includes good , bad, strange, mysterious, anything and everything u remember!

VIJI: hmmmm



me: mind u.. this Q 7 is the MOST powerful of them all , so please do it sincerely, let it take time

VIJI: hmmm okie



me: one person who i asked to do this.. carried a special notebook in bag to write down anything everything that came to memory and within couple of weeks... the book was almost full! :)

VIJI: hmm i think i will do that too!



me: great! u really have to do it for urself to experience what happens after u do it!
